Tara Baker is a seasoned newspaper journalist and editor with a background in marketing. Her articles have won several local, statewide, and national awards, both personally and for her clients.

In 2003, Ms. Baker graduated from the
University of West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She got a humble start in journalism while working for the university's newspaper, where she developed a passion and talent for the written word. After several years as editor for a local publication, she branched out into public relations and marketing, contributing to both the creativity and profit picture of her
clients.

Her editorial adventures have included covering statewide elections, launching national media campaigns, authoring several published eBooks, writing content for the Web and much more. In 2008, she was named Skirt Magazine's "Muse of the Month" for July, just one of her many
editorial acknowledgements and awards.
She continues to write both professionally and for play.
